The Truth Hurts

Whether we like it or not we never like hearing the truth! The famous line is “Tell me the Truth” or “keep it real” knowing that those facts may just tear our world apart. So, can we really handle the truth? The truth is the property of being in accord with the fact or reality. The fact is that we always want to know step by step of the truth how it is being said to us with sincerity looking at us in our eyes whether it is false or not we believe it at that moment that whatever that person is telling us they are being honest with us. When on the other hand the reality is it may just be false.
This scenario can go for any form of relationship such as friendship, marriage, engagement, or monogamy. Which category of correlation fits you? Facts is once we hear the truth our reaction is blown out of proportion or we began to act insane depending on the scenario. Should we not have any emotions or be able to show them?
I have heard it all from “ I did not tell you the truth because I did not want to hurt you” or “ You can’t handle the truth” Let’s flip it to the friendship end “ I always keep it real” . Yea I can go on and on with what I have heard. The truth does hurt! It only hurts if someone that means something to you was the one to deliver or failed to deliver the message. After hearing what you have been screaming for them to tell you, you then regret at that moment that you were even told that. Granted your world has been shattered with devastating news but that news was hurtful for that moment and could be your miraculous future. The truth shall set you and that person free. They say there is three sides to a story. My truth, your truth, and the truth. Continue to follow my journey as I tell my truth in my upcoming book “The Journey of the Unbreakable Warrior”.
