Loyalty

When you think about the word loyal who comes to mind? Can you name at least one person to fit that description whether it is a friend, family member, coworker, or significant other? Having loyalty is standing by that person side regardless if they are right or wrong but truthful. Never to steer your right hand wrong. Regardless of the relationship between the two we all have who we are loyal to. Is that the right thing to do or way to go? My true definition of being loyal is not just standing by my side but through the darkest times when I am walking in those dark tunnels for you to pull me out. Being sincere enough to understand my hurt and pain showing up for good and bad not asking no questions till the aftermath when we both can sit back and kick it.

I was always been the one screaming the word “Loyalty”, But life hit me on what it really is. True experiences will give you a reality check. Someone who had my front, back, and side was going through the darkest times of their life and for me not to be there physically not even spiritually was an eye opener. Seeing the hurt and pain they were going through was not even visual. Let me tell it I never seen what they were going through but my selfishness was in the way as well as my hurt.

They were not the only one going through something! I was as well and could not open to anyone at least that is what I thought but I still had them to go to. That is the part of selfishness.

This situation made me realize that Loyalty goes way further than standing by a person side comes with the good and bad. Words can be sincere but are you with the deepest thoughts to see how far you will in go. Continue to follow me on my new journey to the path of being humble.
